Here is the story of a young boy, whose epilepsy gives him complexes. He’s not very smart but he’s a nice guy. He lives in a small town in the north of France, Bailleul, where his mother runs a pub. He divides his time between his good-looking girlfriend, Marie, and a group of friends. They are twenty years old, unemployed and they do nothing but ride their motocycles all day long. They like racing across the town or in the surrounding country. They even challenge a mysterious 205 Peugeot speed car and invent new competing games.

Він проводить час із подругою Марі та з групою приятелів. Це двадцятирічні безробітні, які тільки й роблять, що вештаються на мотоциклах цілими днями. Їм до смаку ганяти містом чи околицею. Вони навіть кидають виклик загадковому швидкісному Пежо 205 і влаштовують нову гру-змагання.

Born in 1958, Bruno Dumont started filmmaking for firms and industries in 1986. He made two short fiction features, PARIS (1993) and MARLE ET FREDD (1994). He was also the scriptwriter of a mini TV serie, ARTHUR ET LES FUSEES in 1994. His first long film, LA VIE DE JESUS has just won the Jean Vigo prize in I997.

Брюно Дюмон народився 1958 року. Почав фільмувати 1986 року. Поставив дві короткометражні ігрові стрічки: ПАРИЖ (1993) та МАРЛЬ І ФРЕД (1994). Був також сценаристом мінітелесеріалу АРТУР І РАКЕТИ (1994). Його перший повнометражний ігровий фільм ЖИТТЯ ІСУСА одержав нагороду Жана Віго 1997 року.
